Other Teaching Activities
- Developed a special topic course EE 8342 "Theory and Applications of Higher-Order and
Cyclic Statistics in Signal Processing" in 1996. In this course, traditional second-order correlation and
spectral analysis methodologies are generalized to higher-order moments,
cumulants, and polyspectra. The goal is to solve signal processing problems
involving non-Gaussianity, nonlinearity, and/or structured nonstationarities.
- Developed a set of Java-based EE 3340 "Random Signals and Noise"
virtual laboratory tools in 1997. URL: www.ece.gatech.edu/users/gtz/java/
- Participated in the 1998-1999 "CETL Class of 1969
Teaching Fellows Program."
